Ted Lindenberg, Vice President, is a career educator, working as a teacher, guidance counselor, assistant principal and school principal. He has been a school principal for 24 years and is presently a
school consultant. He is a licensed counselor and holds certifications as a counselor, principal and school superintendent. Since his recent retirement as a principal, he is a co-host on WSLR’s Jumping Mullet and Local Matters, is a committee member of the Boys and Girls Club in Sarasota, a community volunteer at United Way and is a Rotarian at the Lakewood Ranch Rotary. Ted became a LCS Board Member in 2010.
Charles Gallagher (Treasurer) is a U.S. Navy veteran and a graduate in Electrical Engineering fr
om Carnegie Mellon University. He marketed major computer systems in the Midwest and South to corporations and universities and also through a reseller network. After a successful career in sales, he founded his Detroit firm for income and investment properties, selling off the assets in 2000 and retiring to Florida. A recent arrival in Sarasota in 2010, he joined the Literacy Council, became an ESOL teacher, and has served on the Board of Directors since July of that year.
Dr. Toni LaMotta, Secretary, is a New Thought Minister, professional speaker, author and spiritual life coach. She holds two Doctorates, and 3 Masters degrees – In Mathematics, Pastoral Ministry and Adult and a Masters and ABD in Adult and Continuing Eduction from Columbia University.
Toni is an expert on the management of change and helps both people and organizations in change and transition.
Toni became a member of the LCS Board in July of 2010. She as extensive experience in marketing Online and in Social Media and is currently chair of the Public Relations Committee which always welcomes new members!
