Workplace Literacy
The Literacy Council of Sarasota, Inc. is a
not-for-profit educational organization
founded in 1978. For nearly 30 years, The
Literacy Council of Sarasota has helped
adults acquire reading, writing, speaking, and
comprehension skills to meet the demands
of daily life, to improve their potential for
fulfilling employment, and to enhance the
quality of life for themselves and their families.
Affiliate of ProLiteracy America, and proud
member of the Florida Literacy Coalition
and the Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce.
